Fondacio Vietnam start mission since 2014. About ten young lay Vietnamese alumni from the institute of formation in Manila (IFFA) have committed to live more deeply their Christian faith and be of service to the local Church and people, as a Fondacio mission team.They intend to provide some Life-skills training for the migrant youth, basic formation for youth and laity, and outreach activities to disadvantaged children. We are grateful to have Rev.Fr. Joseph Dao Nguyen Vu, SJ as their local spiritual director.

VISION

Fondacio Vietnam forming young people to be collaborators for the renewal of the Church and development of the Society.

MISSION
  • Enable young people to value themselves, grow, appreciate their uniqueness; enrich their gifts, skills and strengths through knowledge experiences, overcoming barrier of life.

Renewal of faith through social and charitable activities, involve young people to partake in the life of church and enrich their life from the love of Jesus.

OUR VALUES :

•    We believe each person is unique and has gifts, skills and strengths to be discovered throughout life.
•    We treat each person equally, whatever their faith, gender or abilities
•    We believe that exposure to other cultures helps young people to grow as human beings.

Initially we will build on existing relationships with:
– Country members of Fondacio (YDCs/YLP of Philippines, Laos and Myanmar; the Formation; and interns/volunteers)
– The Pastoral Center of Saigon
–  Cooperation with Exodus Company/Community for migrant youth
