By the grace of God, Young Lives Yangon started its online Human Module YoungLives Yangon with 12 participants.
It started in September 28 and finished successfully in October 11. Each session took 3 hours each day. The online classes were mainly conducted by our four Young Lives staff and two external resource persons.
There were 7 sessions in the Human Module YoungLives Yangon:
1. Inculturation
2. My personal History
3. PDP (Personal Development Planning)
4. Values Development
5. Values Enhancement
6. Critical thinking
7. Human Sexuality
Despite the difficulties (being new with the digital tools and encountering technical problems) the students enthusiastically participated in online classes.
Today, we see the improvements in their spiritual lives. They were also able to adapt themselves living in community.
Seng Mun Pan, one of the students, said “I was able to pursue the online classes although I had difficulties in speaking Burmese and faced technical problems.”
She also added that, “Critical Thinking is one of my favorite subjects in this Human formation because it helped me to think analytically and become mature.”
In conclusion, we thank the Lord for all the blessings to Young Lives Yangon as well as the people who supported us with their prayers especially during this situation.
Hence, we, the Yangon team, will continually do our best in this mission journey to create young leaders.
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God, I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
(Isaiah 41: 10)
